Program Description

Village Capital is a global venture capital firm that runs accelerator programmes using a unique peer-selection model. Instead of a panel of judges deciding who gets funded, the startups in each cohort evaluate each other. The two top-ranked companies at the end of the programme receive direct investment from the Village Capital fund.

### What You Get

Selected startups participate in a 12-week virtual or hybrid accelerator programme. They receive mentorship, workshops on fundraising and scaling, and introductions to potential customers. The top two startups receive investment ranging from $50,000 to $150,000.

### Who Should Apply

Village Capital Africa programmes are open to early-stage startups working in fintech, healthtech, agritech, and edtech. AI-powered companies are encouraged to apply, especially those using data science and machine learning to address underserved markets across the continent.
