Program Description

Orange Corners is an initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs that supports young entrepreneurs in Africa and the Middle East. The programme operates in multiple African countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Senegal, and Egypt.

### What You Get

Selected entrepreneurs receive business training workshops, access to mentors from the Dutch and African business communities, seed funding grants, and networking events with investors. The programme runs for 6 to 12 months depending on the country.

### Who Should Apply

Young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 with a business idea or early-stage startup. AI and technology companies are welcome and increasingly represented in recent cohorts.

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Applicants must be citizens of an African country, or currently registered in an accredited African tertiary academic institution.
  • Demonstrable interest or active project development in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or computer science.
  • Submission of active academic transcripts, CV, and a personal statement outlining project impacts.
