Program Description
AfriLabs is the largest network of technology innovation hubs in Africa, with over 400 member hubs across 52 countries. The Capacity Building Programme helps these hubs develop the skills and resources needed to support emerging technology startups, including those working on artificial intelligence.
### What You Get
Member hubs receive training on how to mentor AI startups, access to funding opportunities for their communities, networking with other hubs and international partners, and tools to measure the impact of their startup support programmes.
### Who Should Apply
Technology hubs, incubators, co-working spaces, and innovation centres across Africa can apply to join the AfriLabs network. Individual AI startups can also benefit by connecting with their nearest AfriLabs member hub for mentorship and workspace access.

Eligibility Guidelines
- Applicants must be citizens of an African country, or currently registered in an accredited African tertiary academic institution.
- Demonstrable interest or active project development in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or computer science.
- Submission of active academic transcripts, CV, and a personal statement outlining project impacts.
